Greek President's Council
The Greek President’s Council will be the central unifying organization of all recognized Greek organizations on campus. The Greek President’s Council will also support the Mission, Vision and Core Values of Buffalo State College, in general, and specifically the Mission and Vision of each recognized Greek organization. Additionally, the Greek President’s Council will promote and foster inter-organizational and intra-organizational collaborations, as well as foster positive relationships with the Buffalo State College student body.
The Greek President’s Council shall be composed of the President for each recognized fraternity and sorority at Buffalo State College.

College Panhellenic Associations are based on democratic principles and organized to enable cooperation among the women’s-only sororities on a campus. College Panhellenic members must respect and obey the letter and spirit of all National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) Unanimous Agreements and policies.

The National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations, Inc., (NALFO) is an “umbrella” coalition established in 1998 to promote and foster positive interfraternal relations, communication, and development of all Latino fraternal organizations through mutual respect, leadership, honesty, professionalism and education.

National Multicultural Greek Council (NMGC)
The National Multicultural Greek Council (NMGC) is an umbrella council for a coalition of Multicultural Greek-letter organizations (MGLOs) established in 1998. The purpose of NMGC is to provide a forum that allows for the free exchange of ideas, programs, and services between its constituent fraternities and sororities; to promote the awareness of multicultural diversity within collegiate institutions, their surrounding communities, and the greater community-at-large, and to support and promote the works of its member organizations.

National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)
The National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc. (NPHC) is a coalition of the nine largest historically African American Greek-letter fraternities and sororities, currently representing over 1.5 million members internationally. The organization boasts a diverse membership that comprises students, celebrities, corporate, political and community leaders. Its affiliate membership includes Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. The NPHC was organized May 10, 1930 on the campus of Howard University. For over 75 years, members of the constituent Greek-letter organizations of NPHC have convened to discuss and address issues of mutual concern. The collective social and economic power of the NPHC has been a major source of change for the African American community in America since its inception.
